Its funny to see things come back in style that I really liked when I was young! Im pretty sure I wore a black choker necklace almost everyday in 7th and 8th grade. Of course back then I didn’t have money to buy real ones so I cut up old panty hose and wore them around my neck (which really angered my mom a few times.. oooppss!) I loved this necklace because it’s a bit more unique with the bow detail, still really simple but girly. I paired it with this adorable floral romper, lace up flats, which are both from Asos, and a vintage bag!
It’s no secret, especially if you follow me on Instagram that I LOVE overalls! They are really easy to throw on and soo cute! This is definitely my new favorite pair, I got them from Asos recently. The denim is super soft, with a relaxed fit. They have ajustable straps which comes in handy when you’re on the shorter side like I am! I also really like how flowy the bottom is, it gives them a girly feel. I paired them with an off the shoulder crop top, metallic flats and a pop of red ❤
Happy Friday everyone!! Today’s look is all about mixing prints and summer socks. I love mixing prints, as you might already know. It’s fun and silly but there’s definitely an art to it that I enjoy experimenting with! Right now I really like the sheer socks and sandals combo, it’s a cool way to add texture to a look. I wore these adorable red polka dot socks from Tabbi Socks with some red platform sandals to jazz up a floral dress!
I truly love the city of Indianapolis. It has grown so much in the last few years! There are tons of local shops, restaurants, lots of art and live music! Lately we have been spending a lot more time downtown Indianapolis. This weekend walked around and ended up trying this awesome smoothy place called Natural Born Juicers! For my outfit I wore my new lace heels from asos. I’m not a huge heel person but I loved the lace up look. These aren’t very high and they have a block heel making them comfortable and easy to wear! I paired it with a printed skirt and a crop top, for a summery day date look ❤
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!! Today we will hopefully be riding bikes and hanging out on Geist Reservoir. We are crossing our fingers it doesn’t rain a bunch! This is one of my favorite holidays to dress up for because it’s all about by two fav. colors and the vintage vibes ❤ I found these amazingly adorable silver star flats at Asos. They are a great little pop of metallic to pair with the classic denim overalls and an off the shoulder crop top.
Hope everyone has a lovely day, for those of you celebrating, happy July 4th!!<3 xoxo
